I'm a fan of that or a bigger safety or an ambi or a bigger ambi-safety.

Second of all there are a lot of modifications but ones that will ensure that any gun will survive that many rounds without a cleaning? I've seen Glocks, H&Ks, Sigs, you name it go down on a firing line. You are free to do as you like but once again this is just my take. I don't put my knife away covered in blood after field dressing a deer and I don't leave my gun clogged up with who knows what overnight.

I'd wager a lot of my guns might just survive it by why make them go through it? Just an observation mind you but there's this bizarre "I didn't clean it for X rounds" fetish in the shooting world and it's always over a two to three day course. I've never been the type to wait and find out just how many rounds, mud, or debris it's going to take until an angel pisses in my musket (old say, "All skill is in vain until an angel pisses in your musket,"). I don't care if your gun is a Glock, HK, 1911, Sig, CZ, M&P, or BHP, you shoot a gun enough it will jam.some more than others. I think that I must be the only man in America who does so. First of all when I take a course I clean my guns each day.
